Challenge

To audit existing content, requirement gathering workshops and create requirement documents, create updates AI and UX, alongside clickable prototype, then complete redesign and development of their UK website.
Knauf UK's website, while informative, lacked a user-friendly structure and intuitive navigation. This made it difficult for architects, builders, and homeowners to find the specific products and information they needed.

Solution

A dynamically headless CMS migration of all existing content. alongside the creation of customer personas and completely overhauled information Architecture. User experience was developed and tested against each persona, and business objectives, and user tested for quality. A brand new brand and asset tool kit, which enhanced the product suit by using animated product views, high quality (to retina) imagery

Discovery & Requirements Workshops: Collaborated with Knauf to understand their goals, target audience, and brand vision for the website. Defined key functionalities and content requirements through interactive workshops.

User Experience (UX) Optimization: Conducted user research and analyzed website data to identify areas for improvement. Optimized the website architecture and information flow for enhanced user navigation and discoverability.

Clickable Prototype Development: Created interactive prototypes to test and refine the website's user interface (UI) before final development. This allowed for user feedback and ensured a smooth and intuitive user experience.

Improved Information Architecture (IA): Conducted user research to understand user needs and information-seeking behavior. This data informed the development of a new IA that categorizes content logically and intuitively, making it easier to find specific products, technical specifications, sustainability information, and inspirational project galleries.

Enhanced User Interface (UI) Design: Implemented a clean layout with a clear hierarchy of information and a focus on white space, creating a visually uncluttered and easy-to-navigate experience.
